Security Checkups

Security checkups can range from a single system to an entire network. The goal is to find and explain as many security issues as possible and assist the client in implementing corrective action. A common flaw is having null passwords, even putting in a simple password helps protect from casual abuse by vendors and customers, who may have physical access to your systems. Though good password choices are preferred, every situation has its own solution and we will assist you to find the best solution for you. Other gotchas are unpatched OSs, poor ACL (Access Control List) usage in protecting shared folders, poor physical security, and unmanaged software installations (Adware, Spyware, Peer2peer clients, etc). Security checks should be done regularly, so poor habits that were successfully corrected do not reappear amongst your users.
